Born and raised in a small town in Wisconsin, I’m a simple girl who loves the simple things in life; a friendly conversation, a home-cooked meal, a trip to the farmer’s market, a drink on a summery patio, or a cozy winter’s night at home on the couch.

I’m slightly particular, but not hard to please.

I’m a lover, a crier, a nurturer, and a friend.

I’m no good at bluffing so if you ask for my opinion, be prepared to hear the truth.

I’m not capable of making a long story short, and some might say I have the gift of gab.

I’m on a constant quest to improve myself by seeing the best in everyone. I realize that by giving each and every person I meet the benefit of the doubt, I set myself up for hurt and disappointment, but what doesn’t kill me makes me stronger.

My family means the world to me. I do not believe that family is defined by the people with whom you share blood, but by the people who are there for you no matter what. The people that support you when it counts. The people you want by your side through all of life’s trials and tribulations. I’m lucky to have a pretty amazing family, both blood-related and otherwise.

I’m married to an incredibly handsome and handy man with whom I share a home, a love for craft beer, and a sweet fur child. We recently welcomed twin sons and they light up our world!

We’re supported by great families on both sides, and my parents just happen to be some of our best friends.

I’m aware that my life is pretty great, and for that, I thank my lucky stars each and every day.
